Come sail away…

The journey of self-expression is to open gateways to a place far away yet so close. Close because it is in all of us, we carry it in our hearts. This is the journey of painting. This is the journey of life.

Creation is where our hearts open, expand & fly. When I open to a life greater than my limitations I feel at home. Love, feelings, creation & connections with people expands us. When we engage with these we step into the unknown & remember something forgotten.

I have been travelling to understand. I have found that the surface beliefs, structures, rules, the media, and systems are all limitations combining together to create a smaller world than our minds are able to see. A world where we believe we are our limitations & that we have no choice to change.

In this smaller picture I had little understanding of possibility. The possibility to change; the possibility to connect with people and feel deep love; the possibility of understanding & feeling that we are so much more than just a person in a body, living a life without purpose.

Understanding & expanding the purpose of life is where my paintings travel. Painting taps into who we are…creation, expression, expansion, love, hope & togetherness. A place called home.

Through this travel we find that we have the keys to the universe within us all.
